Ingredients
- 2 cups of maple syrup
- 5 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
Instructions
- Boil syrup to 232 degrees or a little more than the soft ball stage. (Drop a small amount of syrup into cold water to test for the soft ball stage.)
- Let the syrup cool.
- Then beat the butter with the cooled syrup until smooth and thick.
