Ingredients:
- 1 Pastry for 1 9” pie
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamom
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/3 cups 1% carnation milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425. Line pie plate with pastry.
- Beat eggs lightly; beat in pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, salt, and carnation milk. Pour into prepared pie shell.
- Bake pie at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce oven to 350 degrees and bake pie for about 45 minutes longer or until tester inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Let cool and garnish with whipped cream if desired.
