Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless chicken, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin, ground
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 teaspoon canola or olive oil
- 1 green and 1 red pepper green and red peppers, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, chopped
- salsa
Instructions:
- Prepare toppings.
- Slice chicken. Sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Brown garlic in oil over medium high heat. Add chicken strips and cook until brown. Add sliced onion and peppers and cook until vegetables are tender crisp.
- In the meantime, warm whole wheat tortilla shells in a grill pan or frying pan.
- Spread chicken mixture over torilla shells and add toppings.
